The setting is amazing and great, near to Elterwater and nature. The atmosphere of the hotel is special. I have stayed in the superior king room for the wash basin.

The hotel was clean with outstandingly accommodating and exceptionally nice staff members. Had spotless and airy room complete with towel rail were in the bedroom. The venue's location was wonderful, short walk to Langdale Pikes.

My stay was fantastic on night of our stay. My deluxe double room was wonderful with free standing bath. There were an electric kettle and glassware, truly enjoyed it. The location was great, just off nearby pub, beautiful surroundings and leisure centre.

All good — we thoroughly enjoyed this traditional hotel — the food was outstanding and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and incredibly nice. The room was huge and nicely furnished with WiFi and a lounge.

Greatly enjoyed the place, had a fantastic stay on night of our stay. Deluxe queen room was wonderful with lovely bed. There were an ironing set, coffee/tea making facilities, and a TV set in our room. Incredible location and overall the staff was fantastic and fabulous.

We loved this place! The location was amazing, nestled near the village and right by a beautiful lake. It was the perfect spot for hiking in the Langdale valley. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the welcome drink was a lovely surprise. Our room had everything we needed, from ironing facilities to a cozy sitting area. We also enjoyed the terrace and dining table outside, perfect for enjoying the stunning views. The restaurant and bar area were great for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
We highly recommend this hotel to others.

Simply nothing too much trouble, wonderful stay. Interesting and clean place. Individual rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds, picturesque location. Lots of well presented food. Magnificent restaurant and excellent service. Not to mention good wifi👍👍
